Imaginative play
My kids love these figures! We found them for the first time while visiting Medieval Times and they have started a collection. My kids are 6 and 11 so finding toys they both find interesting (and not electronic) can be challenging. For their birthdays they each got new figures as well as a Melissa & Doug castle - which are great. We went with the Melissa & Doug brand due to having better reviews than the Papo castle and being more affordable. Although we didn’t know when buying, they can either use them singly or assemble them together to make one big castle (see pic.) The knights all look great standing or on their horses - they don’t bend but they are designed very well to look natural in both positions. Some knights don’t have horses but most have the option to switch shields/weapons from hand to hand, and some come with a third weapon on their back which is interchangeable as well. The mutants are a fun addition. The detail is fantastic and they are durable - I don’t see any of the figures or weapons breaking easily. Some horses can be set up to be running or standing on their hind legs - again not pose-able but designed well enough to look very good in both positions. The only item that fell short was the crossbow/ballista. The rubber band isn’t tight enough to make it shoot well and it’s very difficult to get it to work. My kids use them as props but it would’ve been nice if they were more functional. Overall, we are very happy with these toys. Great figures, great castle!

worth it
Ferociously cute dragon figure quite suitable for tabletop RPG games. Delivered on time, in perfect shape, and as advertised.

Great, but not gold
I bought this for a cake topper and the birthday boy was thrilled! He played with it the rest of the party! I rated it a four because it said gold and I would call this more copper in person. Still, it worked out for a golden birthday with a dragon theme.

Very Poor quality paint job, big thumbs down.
The coloring of this actual dragon is a deception and nothing like what you see in the picture. I actually returned the first one they sent to me thinking maybe it was an anomaly but the 2nd was the same as the first. The eyes of both the ones sent have no pupils and are plain orange eyeballs! the claws are sloppily painted shiny black, not gray as in the image shown. The flame is plain dull orange with no yellow! Absolutely NOT the expected Papo quality, in fact it’s unbelievably poorly done. It would maybe be ok to spend $5 on this at a discount store (if child really wanted it) but certainly not $15!
