⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Compact, Powerful, and Extremely Easy to Use
This Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus is a great little food processor that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s very easy to use, powerful for its size, and handles chopping herbs, vegetables, and even hard cheese without any issues. The 24-ounce work bowl is a good size for everyday prep, and the reversible stainless steel blade works efficiently. Cleanup is quick, and the compact design makes it easy to store when not in use. Versatile, well built, and an excellent value—I can’t find anything to complain about.

Good option at low cost!
This little machine works so well. It's small so I don't overload it but it does a great job on everything from veggies to nuts. I love it!

This little guy is great
I was looking for an electric appliance to chop almonds for a specific dish I make. I call it a shrimp and bacon omelette but I got the idea from a Chinese restaurant I used to frequent and they called it butterfly shrimp with bacon (you can find the recipe on youtube). Anyway, one of the ingredients is chopped almonds and it really does make a difference. Without the almonds, it just isn't the same. I had a manual chopper but the plastic container cracked so I didn't want anything I had to pound on my counter to chop these almonds. Before this I bought a coffee grinder under the recommendation of someone, I forgot who and that, although it worked, cleaning was horrible due to the oil left in the coffee grinder from the almonds. Then I found this and it works great. Still not sure what's the difference between grind and chop though, the end result seems to be the same to me but I do as I was told, to alternate between the two with short bursts. This meal is the only thing I use this for so it sits in the cabinet most of the time, Making that omelette takes me a lot of time so I don't make it too often but when i do, I'm glad I have this. It makes my life a lot easier. Oh, and cleaning it a breeze, just take off the plastic container on the top, separate top from bottom, take out the blade and but everything in the top tray of the dishwasher. Done.

Great machine and SAFE to use
It is potent, it does what the description indicates, it works very well….and most importantly!!! It is SAFE to use!!! I chose this specific chopper/grinder because it is UL approved/certified. I have seen so many scary reviews on those cheaper machines causing fires while being used. Unfortunately, I have spent so much money in several different small appliances and/or machines (including solar patio lights, indoor lights with wax warmer, plug in sets with several outlets, etc., etc.) that are NOT UL approved or certified and I have REMOVED them all. I myself have experienced a small fire and short circuit with one of these in my bathroom!!! This machine is perfect for my zero space counter, it works well, and I don’t have to be switching blades when I want to move from chopping to grinding.

Great little food processor!
I've had a large, heavy 14-cup Cuisinart food processor for years, which I love and have used for everything from making bread dough to shredding cheese, pureeing soups or other blender-type tasks, dicing vegetables, and even making nut butters, oat flour, and more. But it's so large and heavy and was a pain to get out for small things, plus the large work bowl wasn't well suited for some of these smaller tasks, either. So, I finally decided to get one of these. It's great! It's lightweight, easy to get out or put away, and is very convenient for small tasks. In my case, I often use it to make just a cup of oat flour or to "blend" blueberries and bananas into plain yogurt as an easy breakfast. It's so convenient I've used it almost every day for the last month (since I got it), unlike my large model that I only got out if I really thought the effort was worth it. It's also fairly easy to clean. The manual says all removable parts ares dishwasher safe, but I've mostly been hand washing to make sure it's ready for the next day (but the dishwasher has also worked). There are some disadvantages, one obvious: it's quite small, so it's not suitable for larger jobs (or heavier--the motor says 250 W; my large one is 720 W). Even with a 4-cup bowl, I can't imagine making much more than 1 cup of oat flour or similar dry ingredients before it gets to be too much. But that's perfect for me -- it's actually better than my large one for this small of an amount. It's also quite loud. I got ear plugs to wear while using it, which I know sounds excessive but really seems like a good idea with this unit. Other disadvantages include a non-waterproof lid (or really anything-proof): there are two small holes in the top, apparently by design. This mostly isn't a problem unless it's probably too full -- again, you won't really get a full 4 cups -- and the contents are watery; in actual use, this has rarely come up for me. Also, replacement parts practically cost more than the unit itself, which I discovered after I considered buying another bowl, lid, and blade (to worry about washing less) since I'm using mine almost every day. Some may also not like that the unit is gray but is actually plastic instead of stainless steel, though I don't personally mind. All things considered, this is a great unit as long as you're aware of the capacity and power--but it works well for its size! If you're like me and want an alternative to your larger food processor, I'd consider this one (but if you're looking for mostly larger jobs, probably start with one of those instead).
