Have tried multiple different root sprays but this one is the most truest to color and goes on easily, and also washes off just as easy. Love this product and keeps me from coloring my hair too often.

I’ve tried a few items now for root touch ups, and so many are on the more expensive side. Style Edit for one, is great, but super pricey for a super small amount. This Rita Kazan root touch up spray in the red shade is such a great value for $12! Not only does it match my hair color almost perfectly, but the spray does cover the areas needed. But you do need to be careful with clothing not getting sprayed! This stuff can stain! I usually use after I dry my hair and wrap an old towel around my neck. As for texture, it feels like most other sprays- but it does stay on well. You can get in on your fingers when itching the scalp area that you’ve sprayed. But again, for me, the cost and amount you get is worth a little bit on your hands. Overall, I would buy this again over any other spray!

Desperate to end my $200 hair color appointments, I have tried Rita Hazan color spray and L'Oreal. I washed my hair then applied spray. Filling in the bald spots (I'm 72) took a while with self application. The bathroom was a disaster! The color-red-looked very good and natural. Then there is the hair texture...YIKES!! With both sprays there was the same effect: the feeling of the hair is hard to describe. My hair was dry but also an almost oily touch, unlike anything I have ever used in my life. the hair was VERY difficult to comb through. Conclusion: to cover bald spots or hairline these products are both very good. For resulting texture, F-. So you can't have both color fix and texture. Also, both products come in 2oz. cans, very small. To cover all the hairless areas required one FULL can! At $11.20/can and washing 1x per week, my cost would be about $45/mo. However, most women like to wash hair more often so one might need to spend almost $100/mo., either brand. Wash 3x/week, well, you get my drift. For me, I'll take the fill in color and texture doesn't matter.

I have tried multiple root concealers and their reds turn out to be dark brown not even close to a shade of red and yes Loreal I am looking at you. The RH red is the only one that matches my shade and stays. I don’t know why some reviews say it sprays everywhere. It has a thin nozzle that only directs the spray where you point. It has more staying power than other concealers. I have been using it for almost 10 years. The only drawback is it does make the sprayed roots stiff like hairspray after it has been on for few minutes but one can comb through right after spraying to blend it evenly.

Product spits out and splatters on clothing, be careful when you use this product

This is a good touch up, washable hair color.

I have been searching for a spray that was a really RED colour and so glad I have found this one. Just wish it was a bit less expensive. But good coverage.

After reading some of the reviews I decided to try this in comparison to Clairol from a big box store and I much preferred the Clairol. This product is very sticky and heavy on my hair and leave such a residue behind I have to wash it the next day. The colour is nice but for the cost and how often I’ll need to wash my hair I won’t be buying this again.

I first sprayed this on paper towel and it looked chocolate brown . But then I tried it in my hair and it really blended with my auburn hair well and it last even after a shampoo some coverage was there. I just think it's too expensive for 2 ounces. Im not giving it 5 stars because of the price

Two stars because the colour is nice but the texture is gucky and gross. You can't touch your hair with this in. The one by Clairol is so much better
