I bought this travel computer table because my boyfriend does long distance deliveries for his job so we spend about 4-6 days out of the week in the car for about 4-10 hours at a time. I’m currently in school full time, and as much as I love being home I also miss my boyfriend when he’s gone, plus I love to travel so I don’t mind the trips. I needed something that would make my life easier when I’m working on my laptop instead of having it on my lap. When I found this laptop travel table I had my doubts about it. I was wrong!! It’s awesome. It’s light weight so I barely notice it and it’s big enough that my laptop fits perfect. The sliding table for my mouse is really nice to have also. It fits nicely in the side pocket of the door when I’m not using it and I’ve never had my laptop slide around at any point. I did have to start being a mouse pad only because there’s 0 grip to the little table that slides out, but other than that it’s awesome. If you travel and work on your laptop in the car, do your self a favor and buy this you won’t be disappointed

I absolutely love the product. Pros: Laptop stays steady, doesn't slide down. Lightweight, yet sturdy design. Mouse tray slides out on the left or right side of platform for left or right handed users. No need for a separate mouse pad when needed. Cons: The mouse tray is a little too smooth or "slippery" so my wireless mouse slides around a bit depending on the angle of my legs/body when mouse isn't in use. It probably could have a slightly more grippy surface to keep that from happening. But that's a personal preference and doesn't keep me from giving the product 5 stars. There's a very slight lip on the tray that keeps a mouse from falling off. Overall, prefer this product over other laptop portable "desks."

Lithium batteries are the bane of my existence. We lost our house to a fire due to a laptop battery malfunction Dec. 2024. So laptops on beds make me understandably nervous. I was always hounding my son to either have something under his laptop- or not use it in bed. It was a constant argument. Then for his birthday I got him this laptop pad. Boom- no more battles. He loves it! It's the perfect size- the mouse tray can slide out on either side- big win! We recently took a road trip it easily fit in his backpack. Highly recommend!

I’m happy with it. The mouse pad is one piece that can slip out either side. It would be better for me if it was two pieces so I could have a shelf on both sides at the same time — one for the mouse and one for my phone or tablet computer.

Love this thing! It’s the perfect size to slip into my backpack with my laptop and I was able to use a mouse while it was on my lap in the airport and on a plane! It’s a little too bulky to take everywhere all the time, but totally fine for taking on trips. This is the first thing I grab whenever I’m going out of town. Every comfortable to use and made well!

Also, it’s travel-friendly, which means I now bring it places like I’m about to host a TED Talk titled “Why I Needed a Lap Desk This Bad.” People don’t question it. They respect it. I have a fairly high-end gaming laptop and was looking for a lap "desk" that would prevent my legs from covering the vents on the underside of the case. I specifically wanted something that was small and thin enough for me to travel with it, and unfortunately almost all lap desks are really thick because of lap cushions, overly wide so they won't easily fit in a carry-on bag, or both. When I found this one, I bought it immediately and I haven't been disappointed so far. I haven't stress-tested the mouse tray, but it seems sufficiently sturdy for general work. The main lap desk itself is small and thin enough to fit in my bag along with the laptop without adding a lot of extra bulk. If I had a complaint, it's that the desk is relatively heavy, although not enough for me to deduct a star for it.

I like the quality of the laptop tray. In the picture it looked like the nonslip pads were a bit raised however they're not. I've put something under my laptop to raise it enough that the fan vents and doesn't overheat and I will say the nonslip pads keep those things from moving so for the price, it's a win. Ther tray is thin and fits in the laptop bag. Overall it's a good purchase because most trays dont raise the computer high enough to properly let the fan vent. Affordable, sturdy,lightweight, and compact.
