The magnets are separated with washers making them easier to manage. A well put together little package. In my case the screws were not needed as I needed to use machine screws in order to attach to pre-existing mount holes. These ended up sitting a little proud of the magnet as the countersinks were a little shallow for my screws. I am sure that if I had shopped around a bit I could have found some machine screws that fit more snugly but maybe worth bearing in mind that the countersink on the magnet are possibly not the deepest/widest.
