01/05/2025 UPDATE: I now have 4 of these for 4 mounted TV's. All different brand TV's and mounted either a Polk Audio soundbar/subwoofer or JBL soundbar/subwoofer system to each TV. They work GREAT! I recommend to friends and family after they see mine. I would also recommend to anyone. The price is incredible when you account for the quality, multiple mounting options and all the screws/bolts/brackets needed for any soundbar out there! Soundbars are secure and do not impact or interfere with the TV mount, but it does use the same screws/holes that your TV mount connects to the TV with. Again, great product, quality, features, options, HIGHLY recommend! Bought 2 of these for 2 different TV's/soundbars. Both kits were complete and had all the hardware for multiple mount options as well as easy to read/follow instructions. Polk soundbars have a "keyhole mount" on the back so I did not use/need the additional "L" brackets that other soundbars would need, but they were there! Used one for a Polk S2 to a 65" Samsung and then a Polk S4 to a 75" Samsung. Both TV's are on articulating mounts. The 65" TV was already mounted and I mounted the 75" and speaker bracket at the same time. Both installs were very easy and took maybe 10-15 minutes for each TV. The soundbar is firmly and securely attached to each TV and does not move if I had to pull out the TV to have access to TV inputs in the back. The brackets are designed so that you can either have the soundbar flush with bottom of the TV or extended below if your soundbar has buttons on top of it that you have to use regularly! Great quality for both brackets and hardware. Mutiple mounting options out of the box. Compared to other mounts for quality, price and options, this is the one! Ordering 2 more sets for a 60" and 55" TV's in our guest rooms! Highly recommend!

Sturdy enough to hold my sound bar, but is a little wobbly without the TV mount bars. Specifically for above the TV mounting. My TV is on a stand and not mounted, so the bracket was not held in place by the TV mounting bars. Once I had all of the screws in place, the mount held easily and was not too difficult

Finding a suitable soundbar mount is becoming increasingly difficult. As TVs and soundbars grow larger and adopt more unique shapes, mounting becomes tricky—especially with newer models featuring upward-firing Atmos drivers that require specific clearance from the TV's bottom edge. I am installing my LG S80TY soundbar onto an LG C5 77" TV using the Mounting Dream MD5428 kit in conjunction with a MantelMount MM340. A major challenge I encountered was that the soundbar’s bottom mounting holes are approximately 28 inches apart, which is wider than the standard horizontal bar included in the MD5428 kit (which is only 27.56"). I had to contact the manufacturer to request their 41" horizontal bar to ensure the bracket was wider than the soundbar itself. Furthermore, LG soundbars are so long and deep that the standard holes on the bracket tray didn't line up. I had to drill new holes myself to securely lock the soundbar onto the tray, as shown in the photo. Ultimately, the final outcome is highly satisfactory. The bracket is robust and comes well-equipped with various components for customization. Customer support was excellent, promptly providing the longer horizontal bar upon request. While the installation is relatively straightforward, achieving perfect compatibility between the TV, soundbar, and mount requires some prior research and a bit of DIY capability

I recently purchased 4 of these while wall mounting all of my tvs and soundbars. Everything I used these mounts on are Samsung products. That makes 8 purchases from this brand including tv mounts too. They are consistent in their quality. These are simple but can be used to mount from several different positions and angles. Everything was labled and the instructions were easy to follow too. I opted to mount the main part of this while working on the tv mount. I did not do the part that actually holds the soundbar until after the tv was on the wall. I say that because If I remember right, the instructions recommended doing it all at once. I did not know if I would have to sit/lay the tv back down and did not want the soundbar in the way or supporting any weight unintentionally. This way I did ask my girlfriend to balance the soundbar while I put the screws in so I could not drop it. It was still fast and easy. This has done great for all 4 soundbars. I recommend this brands tv mounts too. Just get the swivel version for extra space if you intend to do alot of work behind the tvs like hiding wires.

The build quality is top notch. It got my Q-Series Soundbar HW-Q990D 11.1.4ch with Sub Woofer & Rear Speaker attached to my Samsung S95D OLED 77” Matte Finish no problem. The installation process was a bit tricky and since the soundbar is so heavy it’s a bit bended over so I had to tweak it a little bit. And yea there’s no way one or two persons can install this at least 3 or 4 people. But all in all, amazing purchase!

The Mounting Dream Soundbar Mount — because nothing says "home theater upgrade" like drilling holes into your wall and hoping for the best. And to be fair, it mostly lives up to its name. It’s sturdy, does the job, and didn’t instantly fall off the wall — which is basically a 5-star experience in the world of DIY. That said, calling it “heavy duty” might be a bit generous. It feels solid, but you’ll still find yourself staring at it after installation like, “Are you... okay? You’re not gonna drop my $300 soundbar in the middle of the night, right?” Installation was fairly painless — assuming you own a power drill, a level, and just a touch of stubborn optimism. The instructions were written in that classic "mystical IKEA riddle" style, but with enough squinting and Googling, you'll get there. The design? It’s fine. Not invisible, not ugly — just kind of there. Like a background character in a sitcom. Not stealing the show, but not ruining it either. Would I recommend it? Sure. It’s pretty good. Not amazing, not terrible. Like a gas station sandwich you didn’t regret — which in this case, is honestly high praise for a wall mount.

This was a great solution to mount my JBL soundbar. I needed to play around with the mounts to finally get them perfect. Sturdy! Good value

Es un excelente soporte de gran calidad, tenia mis dudas al comprar, pero al verlo físicamente superó mis espectativas. Puse una barra de sonido LG SNH5. Lo único que compré fue una arandela y una tuerca, por mi obsesión de que quedara extremadamente segura. Talvez no era necesario como se puede apreciar en la foto. Lo instale en un soporte giratorio macformet. Quedo como yo lo deseaba con movimiento giratorio. Porque no tengo espacio en mi habitación. Y puedo pegarlo ala pared o moverlo asía adelante. Es la única marca que maneja estos soportes no batallen buscando, gracias mounting Dream y amazon. Feliz con mi compra.

Great product well built sound bar mount. I would definitely recommend to others and I would buy again. Adv: 1. Powder-coated steel pieces with some plastic pieces for the ends. 2. Properly packaged and wrapped. 3. Well documented and clear instructions 4. Well designed to customize your soundbar size 5. Easy assembly. 6. Comes with all your tools to assemble the soundbar mount. 7. Comes with all the screws, washers for VESA mount. Disadv: 1. None so far.

Very solid and heavy duty sound bar mount. Instructions are a bit sparce however the unit is very easy to assemble and add to your existing TV mount. Just make sure you use the correct screws to mount it to your TV. If you have your TV mounted to the wall or a purchased TV stand you may need to use a longer screw. All in all was a great choice for my application and heavy sound bar

La base es muy estética la use para mí sonos playbar. Me hubiera gustado que quedara mejor sujetada para mayor seguridad ya que solo se coloca sobre la base. Fácil de instalar y con la calidad de la marca. Actualmente tengo otra base para una TV de 75" y estoy muy satisfecho con la calidad de sus productos.

Great quality. Easy to install. Instructions kind of dumb but with some common sense no issues. The problem I ran into is my Samsung Q900 is a very deep but not very tall soundbar. Because it has Atmos speakers on top. When mounted on this mount the back bar that goes horizontal was clearly visible and the brackets and soundbar hung underneath. The brackets have no adjustment up or down as to how they mount to the rail. I ended up drilling a couple new holes an inch or so lower on the soundbar bracket to allow them so sit higher for a more seamless look.
