Not only would this clock wake the dead, but you can see the time clearly as well! The display is huge so you don't need your specs to see it and I keep it dimmed which is perfect for me, as at full brightness it lights up the whole room. The buzzer is very, very loud but just having it on vibrate is enough to awake the heaviest sleeper, and having tried all combinations, I now only have it on vibrate - I put the vibrator between my pillow and pillowcase as our bed is an adjustable one with a slatted base. Some reviewers thought the buttons were hard to locate, but after a few nights, I have no problem at all now and can touch the alarm or snooze button without looking. I think it is well made, nothing has fallen off or come apart and since having it I haven't overslept once! Absolutely the best alarm clock I have ever had and I would recommend it 100 per cent.

Soy Sordo severo me gusto ese despertador tiene cable largo con vibrador que se ponen debajo del almohada vibra en aumento hasta mas fuerte y puedes configurar los minutos como 5 o 10 repetitivos que es SNOOZE hasta que te levantes ya levantado puedes apagarlo tienes que ponerlo el botón en OFF,puedes poner 24 horas o 12 horas, tiene un botón para poner la alarma 1 y 2 , tiene tres sonidos diferentes como pitidos y el nivel de volumen 1 a 10: al poner al diez es muy fuerte despertaría todos los vecinos o la casa, yo prefiero usar el vibrador debajo de la almohada sin usar el sonido para no molestar a los demás te despierta con ganas, puedes poner el botón sonido y vibrador: vibraría y sonaría depende del volumen que haya puesto ambas al mismo tiempo, poner solo sonido, o solo vibrador cual este mas a gusto para despertarte, no llegar tarde o faltar mi trabajo, es muy sencillo configurarla nada complicado, le serviría bastante para personas sordos que son leves, severos o profundas o que batalla para despertarse que usuaria vibrador debajo de la almohada, una desventaja tiene una pila 9 V atrás, tiene una función pone la misma hora cuando se va la luz ponen la misma hora y no te despertaría para levantarte hasta que regrese la luz te despertaría si es que no se haya pasado la hora del alarma esta es la desventaja tienes que poner un celular debajo del almohada o un adaptador que tiene pilas algunas para prender la tele a mi le molesta la luz de mi cuarto oscuro, sin la pila de atrás cuando se vaya la luz tienes que configurar todo nuevamente. About 2 years ago, I started a job that required me to be up at 2:00 A.M.. I am not a morning person in the slightest, and was looking for an alarm clock that is LOUD. This is absolutely what I was looking for and more. There is a dial that goes up to 10 for volume, and I think 2 is a sensible level for apartment living (still plenty loud!) The vibrating disk that is attatched to the clock is something I didn’t think existed, but it works beautifully, and can’t think of using anything else. I have it under my pillow, and you can feel it easily on the low setting. It comes with an emergency battery backup, but I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve lost power, so I can’t comment on that element of it. The only downside is some of the button combinations are a little unintuitive. The ability to test the alarm and adjust the time a snooze grants you is nice, but you need to hold down 2 buttons for what seems like ages for it to register. Most certainly not a deal breaker, but that is the only downside I can think of. The clock itself feels kinda cheap and flimsy, but I have dropped the whole unit on a hardwood floor multiple times without issue, so good on it for being a tough little unit.
