Replaced all the other food for my peacock cichlids
I used to feed several different brands of food to assure that my cichlids were getting a complete diet. After reading online forums about Ron’s I gave it a shot. The first thing that sets it apart from every other food I’ve seen is that it is not just a singular type of pellet, rather a blend of different types of pellets. That is the reason for the size range of the food, because it is the size range of the pellets that they incorporate into the mix. The second thing I noticed is the size of the bag is small compared to other bags of the same weight. That is because the food is dense, not just fluffed up with air. I find myself feeding about a teaspoon of Ron’s when I used to feed three teaspoons of the others. The bottom line, I think I’m going to stick with this blend. The ingredients are high quality, I don’t need to buy multiple types of food because Ron’s is already a blend, and it is easier to store and feed because it is a lot denser and less bulky. Lastly, the fish seem to like it and the different pellet sizes lets larger fish pick off the larger pellets and the smaller pellets can get down to the little ones.

The variety is helpful
Great option if you have different sizes mixed in the tank

Great selection of different foods and one perfect for bottom, feeding cichlids
Ron’s cichlids food presents a variety of different types of nuggets in one bag I found my cichlids really like to sift through the sand, crushed coral to get this food it kept them busy. Not as Popular with my surface eaters they like more of the stuff that floats around, but I have that variety of food for them.

Helps with fiber to mitigate bloat
In my cichlid tank, over two months, I’d lost two fish to what I believe was Malawi bloat. I became alarmed and began searching for answers, reading that one helpful move was to give them more fiber and better food. I’d been serving a “good” flake food but badly wanted to help my fish because they rely on me for their health. Enter RON’S CICHLIDS fish food and some seaweed. This food looks like the shiny brown sprinkles I put on my ice cream sundaes. Like most of our cichlid tanks, I have top, middle, and bottom feeders and this food covers all three. They devour it! It took a few days for them to recognize the seaweed as food but this stuff they took to immediately. I have not had any bloat since and will continue to buy RON’S CICHLID food. Thank you, Ron!

They're very small pieces not for very big fish
Great food for the fish that will go to the bottom and eat it.It just sinks so fast.I just am wasting it because they won't chase it to the bottom. And if something happens, you can't return it.So I have a pound of food that my fish will eat.

Good quality fish food
My cichlids both at home and at work love this food. It has good ingredients for them, and although a little pricier than the competition, I think worth it! I always have healthy fish.

Good for larger fish
Some of the pieces are larger and only my biggest fish can eat them.
