Onyx CO2 pfd recharge
I had never actually fired my vest off to check the CO2 device. It worked great, the down side being $20 for a refill. I ordered 2, one of the green recharge reset tabs was broken, so I used the one from the 2nd kit. No response from the seller so I called the company direct and they are sending a couple new tabs. When you pull the cord the vest fills in less than a second. Good to test every few years just to make sure it works.

It is what it is
Not much to say about it, it's an Onyx PFD re-arming cylinder. They seem a little pricey for what they are (though this was the best price I could find them), but it's entirely worth the convenience of not having to deal with a big, bulky standard PFD. Plus, I'm purchasing this because I DID have to deploy and use the cylinder my Onyx 3001. It worked great, even in 45 deg F water, and I'm here to type about it so no complaint.

It’s in the live vest for snuggly and I’m sure it will be easy to replace

Broken piece
The small green piece that holds the lever in place was broken. I used a piece of thread to hold it in place. I did test it to make sure it would break if I needed to inflate the vest and it did I then attached the co2 cartridge

This life preserver is indeed life saver.
After deployment the preserver needed to be recharged note make sure the bobben is placed correctly.

This is part of a gift so can't comment on much. However it appears to be exactly what I expected - lightweight, compact and well-priced.

Muy caro el chaleco y los tanques traen un seguro verde que se rompe fácil y ni sabes si está trabajando correcto. Quisiera devolverlo pues ni puedo ya usarlo donde se consiguen esos seguros verdes o ya hay hecho otro de mejor calidad.
