Q: Hi, is it possible to tell what is the difference between size 1 and 5 ?

It is just the physical size. I had ordered size 1, which I use for measuring various adjustable angles of medical furniture. You should buy size 1 or 5 depending on the size of product you want to use level tool on. I believe size 5 is more suited for building/construction industry.

Q: Would this work if hanging "inverted" (hanging under something from the magnet)?

Yes it will work hanging upside down held on by magnet

Q: Where is it made now? item picture shows made in usa, but product info says made in china.

There is no indication on mine where it is made. Very well made product.
