Works a treat when using camera for extended periods of time. Otherwise I just use normal batteries. Best of both worlds if you purchase one of these.

Excellent! Does exactly what you'd expect, feels well made and is free from any defects. Price very reasonable and so far has held up to near daily use for powering a Sony a6000 as a streamer camera without issues.

I purchased a different manufacturer of a battery dummy and it didn't work but this one works perfectly.

This works fine but when you consider how small phone chargers are nowadays, it's difficult to see why this package needs to be so big. For a start, there is a standard figure 8 mains cable and a separate transformer unit. It would be much better if the transformer was built into the plug and a single cable to go from the plug to the camera. There are of course USB versions of these so I'm hard pressed to see why you would want a mains version when a USB version is so much more versatile: You could charge it from a phone adapter, computer or powerbank. Apart from that, the quality is ok but nothing special.

This is a godsend. I've read reviews everywhere saying that a dummy battery for static filming was the way to go and it's 100% accurate. I use this setup to film podcasts and never have to worry about running out of power and it helps with some overheating issues I've had in the past with the sony a6000. Well worth the expense.

Never have to worry about battery life for a fixed camera :) Does the job.

This battery has been working well so far. Using it in a Sony A6300 that I have set up for recording videos and lets me keep the power flowing to the camera for hours at a time.
