Reliable, vibrant, and lasts so much longer than the standard cartridge!
The HP 65XL Tri-color ink cartridge is absolutely worth the upgrade if you print regularly. The colors come out bright, crisp, and consistent every time—great for documents, school projects, labels, and even basic photo printing. What I love most is the high-yield capacity. It lasts noticeably longer than the standard 65 cartridge, so you don’t have to worry about running out of ink in the middle of a project. Installation is quick and effortless—just pop it in, and the printer recognizes it instantly. It’s a little more expensive upfront, but the extra print volume and reliability make it a much better value in the long run. If you use an HP printer compatible with the 65 series, the 65XL Tri-color is definitely the one to get.

Proprietary wow!
I’ve read about HP going proprietary, meaning you can only use HP ink cartridges with HP printers but thought that was for new technology printers. I installed a new HP black cartridge and got a communication error. Then removed the non-HP color cart. To find the printer was removed from the selection all together. WOW HP color fixed the problem. I would have given it 1 star but was afraid I might be black listed. Free enterprise ain't free. Certainly alien technology at work. All the best.

Works Well but the Cost is Ridiculous!
Anyone who currently has (or has had) an HP Inkjet Printer/Scanner knows how annoying this purchase is. I can think of hundreds of things I would rather buy with the $95 I just spent on name-brand HP Black XL and Color XL Inkjet cartridges. HP's "Dynamic Security" prevents us from using third-party ink with HP printers. Those of us who thought we had landed on the bargain of the century when we purchased knock-off ink cartridges that note “HP compatible” on Amazon (or similar) have learned the hard way that nothing but actual HP inkjet cartridges will work (per HP design). HP began the practice of banning unauthorized printer ink in 2016 with a firmware update that prevented third-party ink from being used. And they have the nerve and the audacity to say they do this “to protect the quality of the customer experience." Most HP printers are relatively inexpensive (or can be) and after spending a lot on elaborate printers with all the bells and whistles, I returned to a basic HP Printer/Scanner I picked up at a Black Friday sale a couple of years ago. Dirt cheap but the ink cartridges run about $100. Some techies have found ways to bypass HP’s inkjet cartridge protection and it's worth looking into. But in the interim, we are all forced to buy ridiculously expensive inkjet cartridges if we intend to print anything on an HP Printer.

Ordered and used the authenic HP 65 ink bought through AMAZON and there has never been a problem.

Lasts lot longer, less cartridges to get rid of, store or keep replacing, although initially more expensive upfront than the smaller single ink. However, recently bought this and the cost was split into smaller, varied, mutiple charges, for just one ink by Amazon, creating lot of confusion, even contacted Customer Service to figure this out. A simple purchase, became too involved and it should not have been that way, it's only ink. Not sure why the ink was divided up that way in cost and might go back to buying in-store to make life simple.

The ink was great but the amount in the Cartrage was about the same as the regular. I have bought XL many times and it printed way more than this last one I recieved. I can only guess some how it was mislabeled

Ink is quite pricy and doesn’t last long for small businesses who print frequently
