Was getting no signal message on my factory XM radio and tried this and that for troubleshooting with XM and no luck. They said take it to the dealer. I’ve heard the antennas can go bad so looked this up and since they’re pretty cheap thought I’d give it a try. As soon as I plugged it into the radio which is located behind the glove box it worked right away and still working perfect now 2 weeks later. Ran it through the small cover on the outer dash between the passenger door and dash and then tucked it behind the door seal which hides the wire and protects it perfect. The antenna itself sticks with a strong magnet and mounted it on the roof just above the passenger door. Super cheap and quick fix I’m very happy

Intermittent reception. I get a sense that if it were not a MINI then it wouldn’t drop signal under trees. I’ll keep because I’m having a hard time finding the right solution and “some” reception is better than none.
