A Masterpiece of LEGO Engineering!
The LEGO Creator Expert Police Station (10278) is an absolute must-have for any modular building collector or LEGO enthusiast. From the moment you start building, you can tell this set was designed with incredible attention to detail and clever techniques. The architecture is stunning, featuring a classic 1940s-style police station complete with a jail cell, evidence locker, and even a hidden donut smuggling operation! The color scheme is perfect, blending sand green, nougat, and tan to create a realistic and aesthetically pleasing facade. What truly makes this set stand out are the intricate details and storytelling elements. The vintage rotary phone, typewriter, and newspaper stand outside all add to the immersive experience. Plus, the way the staircase is constructed and the seamless integration of the adjoining buildings make this set feel alive. With 2,923 pieces, the build is engaging and satisfying, offering a great balance between challenging techniques and rewarding progress. The minifigures—including police officers, a newspaper vendor, and a mischievous burglar—enhance the playability and display value. This set fits seamlessly with other Modular Buildings like the Bookshop and Corner Garage, making it a fantastic addition to any LEGO city. If you’re a fan of modulars or just love well-designed LEGO sets, this one is an absolute must-buy!

High quality, fun design
Great product. No missing pieces, no confusing steps, fun build. Would recommend to those that appreciate this series of Lego structures, a great addition to most Lego City collections. Highly recommend if you have the money. I just wish it were a little cheaper.

A really fun addition to the LEGO modular building collection
This was a lot of fun and took a LEGO savvy 9-year-old boy two full days to assemble. Like most of the modular buildings, most of the fun comes from the initial assembly. There is enough detail to allow the building to be separated apart for imaginative play, but the real joy is in creation of the final product. It holds together well, but there are limited ways to actually play with it as a police station unless you disassemble the various floors to gain access to the interior space. Great toy and huge hit for Christmas morning!

Take your time and sort parts before assembling
I have been a Legophile since childhood and have touched thousands of Lego pieces. Over the years on my own and with my children, we learned that sorting Lego (only one numbered set of bags at a time) on a large flat surface ensures success. These Creator sets have the smallest Lego pieces ever designed. If you don't have a place to spread them out without stacking and then do some sorting, you will reach a panicked state of thinking you are missing a piece at a crucial time. I still smile at the genius of the design and the build process. Several pages go by working on something that is unclear what it is or where it fits, then BOOM - it's a grandfather clock! Very satisfying. Looking to light up my city as I build it. Age now lets me afford these bigger sets for myself than earlier in life. LEGO for Life!

Adding to my Leo buildings!
This addition fits in with his 7 other Lego city buildings. Quite the street theme in his room.
