I loved gifting this to my children's grandparents. It came with 10 hearts to place names on and a miscellaneous amount of little diamonds. A nice black ink pen wrote on the wooden hearts just fine and without smearing. My only complaint was trying to place that many hearts throughout the tree to not look overly cluttered. It looks perfect with 8 or less; anymore looks like a bit much BUT still a very lovely tree to gift grandparents.

I was looking for a way to give my mom a gift that also helps her remember key dates. She loves to stay involved but always forgets the kids birthdays. The heart size was perfect for both. Great quality. Easy to use. Looks beautiful when completed. Great if you’re new to crafting, You can’t mess it up!

Love, love this one! I bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law. She loved it as well! The only challeging part is choosing the right pen/technique to use on the heart. I have pens that can be used for wood, however because of the wood texture, which is not smooth. The ink seeped in and created smudges on the cracks :( Wish the wooden hearts are smooth for easy writing. Aside from that, this is real pretty to have or give as a gift.
