Pretty, durable, and work great
Thin enough to easily slide through my hair if you're struggling go watch some tutorials. Pretty. Plastic, smooth, shiny, easy to use if you know how, get the hang of it. Great for the money, bought moee expensive and they were not better quality just 5 times as much . So great bargain I have fine hair, and it's thinner now. Little past shoulder fairly straight. Just fyi

Lovely, Long, Updo Hair Pins
Love these updo hair pins! They are really long. I use 2 when I put up my long hair. It is best to pre curl my hair and then twist it tightly and then wriggle the first pin through different layers of the twisted hair at a diagonal and resting close to my scalp. Then the 2nd pin crossing from the opposite side at opposite diagonal so they cross but an different layers. This way larger masses of my bun or twisted hair are secured. A little hairspray and I am good to go on my way. Holds my hair under normal daily activity jut not heavy athletic activity. You will get the hang of it.

ok
These worked ok, not ideal for thick hair, they tend to slip out of place, nicely made.

Lightweight French pins
I recently started using French pins to put my hair up and purchased these as a lightweight alternative to the metal pins I already had. They are very pretty with a tortoiseshell color pattern. I was a little worried that they would be too flimsy to use but they have proven to be durable so far with a little bit of give to them which helps with the twisting you do when you use a French pin. My hair goes to the middle of my back and is fairly thick but I've found that one of these pins will hold all of it. They also are the perfect size to also be able to do the double space buns. I would definitely buy them again.

A bit disappointing.
Just received these and surprised how small they are. I think I'm going to need a ruler close at hand in the future when ordering to get a better idea of size. Anyway, pros: They seem sturdy and well built. They're small if you prefer that to the more standard size. Cons: Too small for my taste. I doubt they would hold well in thick hair. The colors are way off from the pictures, especially the blue. The picture looks like it is shades of blue but the one I got was the lighter blue with mostly tortoiseshell. The black one looked almost solid black. The brown one had nice colors. None were as vibrant as the pictures. A bit pricy for what you get. If this is the size you want and you're not just buying for the colors, I'd say go for it. I don't think they'd break too easily. The quality seems ok.

Great for fine hair
I have fine, 2B/2C hair that's to my mid back. These hair pins work great....they stay in, they're light, and the length is perfect.

I LOVE these!!!
I was looking for a damage free way to pull my hair up since I've been experiencing breakage from wearing pony tails so often. I did a YouTube deep dive and found this as a possible solution because it allows you to secure your hair with less tension on the scalp and gives you various options to pin it up. I was a little worried it might not work with my relaxed African American hair but let me tell you, if definitely does and it's so easy and amazing to use plus they're super cute and elegant looking!! They hold secure too, my hair wasn't budging! I suggest looking up some videos on how to use them properly because that's what I did and I was able to secure my hair with the first time using and it was very simple! I'm going to be starting a collection of these now because I'm hooked!

Won’t Hold Hair up & Has Jagged Edge
These hair pins look attractive but I can’t get them to hold my hair up in a French twist at all and the plastic is really wobbly so although it’s thick plastic, I think the fact that it’s still plastic, makes them very flimsy. Perhaps they’d work for very fine hair? One of the three in the pack also has a jagged edge so when I tried to put my hair up it ripped and tore my hair. Don’t buy these. I really regret wasting my money.

You need thick hair for these! They are absolutely lovely, well made, very attractive, great deal. My hair is too thin! It used to be thicker... ah, aging. BUT I also bought their hair clips... and they work well too. But if you have thick heavy hair... these are the best!!

These are nice. The pack of 3 has a good variety of colours, each with a nice “tortoise shell” effect. They are thicker than others I’ve bought in the past and have held up well with long thick hair, holding buns and twists in place. If you’re not familiar with this type of hair accessory, it takes some getting used to but there are plenty of tutorials online and become easy to use after done practice. It is harder to use this type with straight hair in my experience, but doable. I always get compliments on the blue-green one.
