Worked ok for providing a better seat on metal bleachers. It's a bit thin so I'd recommend two of them for long durations.

If you are going to sit on a cold aluminum bleacher, this is super affordable ($7-8 warehouse). I fit two in a large bag with my hot cocoa, blanket, gloves, hat, etc. They live in my car. Get a second one because sitting on it when the person next to you isn't, would just be cold. The comfort is mostly from insulating, not cushioning. It is quite firm. I'm tall skin and bones, 200 lbs but barely make a dent in it. So it's not doing much to alleviate pressure points. I would still like to try a "gel" honeycomb type but didn't want to spring $18-20, and this is quite good enough.

This pad makes sitting outside on a cold, hard metal bench in a high school football stadium comfortable and toasty warm, versus brutal! Makes a huge difference for sitting comfortably! Plus… I tried putting it under my back for support in bed, and it is also working out great for that! Highly recommend!
