Best quality drum heads on the market bar none IMHO
What can I say that I haven't already said about Evans Hydraulic drum heads? I was introduced to this product line 43 years ago and it has been my go to ever since. Quality, durability, tone, tuneability, and feel, they check all of the boxes. Will I order them again? ABSOLUTELY! Knowing how durable that they are I won't need to for quite awhile. Keep up the quality and I am a customer for life!

They really changed the tone of this vintage Tama set, and I like it. The colors are very cool bonus and really gives the set an awesome look. I don't have to use tape and/or cloth to dampen the sustain and that is nice.

All thud and no ring.
Great batter head if you want all thud and resonance. I have a hazy ambassador on the resonant side and need zero muffling, no pillow, no anything for a solid thud. Tighten the batter for a snappier attack. Good for hip hop drumming, 70/80s power rock, metal, or any time you want a clear quick bass drum sound. Warning: not for any style where you want sweet resonant tone, this sound is dead by those standards.

Big sound and great looking
Great sounding and looks awesome! One thing with these, they tend to be a bit boomy without any dampening material. I recommend a small amount of dampening foam or a small towel to control that to be tighter sounding. I've been using the Hydraulics for decades on the toms and always liked the sound of them.

Best in low tuning
Great sounding heads! Sounds great in high tuning but this is greater in low tuning… thud thud thud

This head sounds great, I got this as I really like the hydrolic Tom heads and it's just as good,powerful low end thump and I didn't need a lot of muffling on the inside the kick

Best bass skin ever bought sounds like a cannon I have evans oils on all Tom's and snare kit sounds amazing
