So Can I use this to MY SAECO machine?** A: What I do know is that the Universal Express worked in my relatively low-end machine. I know this because the machine didn't work after repeated cleaning cycles and I took it apart. It was absolutely perfectly clean. No hoses were plugged up, the pump worked. I blew everything out with compressed air. Put it back together and...still a weak flow! So I went through all this again and...somewhat better flow, just adequate. Now, using it awhile it has returned to normal. I can fix most anything and this was and is a mystery. The only thing that I can think of is that there was an air lock, although I did vent it off with the steamer and from what I saw inside there should not be an air lock if that is done. It might be that the motor/pump went through a bad time and didn't put out enough pressure at times, but fixed itself somehow.While doing all this, some of the Durgol mixture spaced onto some stainless knives in the sink. I didn't notice this and didn't rinse them off. They got etched. Durgol is powerful stuff. The Espresso Decalcifier is probably stronger so you could either use more of the standard stuff or save by only using half of the stronger formula. What I don't know is how much build-up there was in the machine prior to the cleaning. There was a fair amount of what seemed to be dissolved calcium (or something) that came through when I cycled the Durgol through.In any case, the innards are like new, not a trace of anything bad in there, the machine works and so I can recommend this product in either form. **Q: Can this be used in a stainless steel electric tea kettle?** A: Yes! I used it in my 10 year old kettle, which was full of disgusting brown scale, and now it looks as shiny inside as a new one. So I don't have an excuse to replace the kettle yet. Just followed the directions, and it worked really well. I reused the boiled scale-cleaning water to soak a couple shower faucet heads and they work much better too. **Q: are multipurpose decalcifier and special decalcifier the same?** A: I am sorry for not responding sooner, I found the email in my Junk Folder for some reason. If you are still interested. I believe the terms are simply marketing terms. I use Durgol for my Drip system and my DeLonghi Magnifica Espresso Machine.
