I have never slept in a hammock before, are they easy to setup?

Extremely easy to se up, the straps allow you to fit it between trees that are of different distances. first time may take about ten minutes but after that its about five minutes to get it up and adjusting it once up is also easy.

Can you just use the carabiner

I clip the carabiner directly to a steel chain at home, use the straps provided when camping.

Do the hammock easy to setup and use?

It's very simple to set up. You're just looping the straps around whatever you're hanging the hammock off. With practice you could probably have it set up in a couple of minutes.

Can this go on an indoor house bed for a toddler?

My son has this in his bedroom but he is 18 years old! My children have had hammocks since they were young but I didn’t let them use/sleep in unattended due safety such as risk of getting tangled, suffocation etc.
