Awesome real
I love this real it's super smooth has a great drag and the runner system works amazing I recently caught and landed a 26 lb catfish using 6 lb test with this setup I highly recommend it

Smooth operating great reel
Great reel for great price. This is my second item from Amazon which was purchased as “slightly used”. Both items worked great and arrived just as described. This is my third Okuma Avenger. I have 2 baitfeeders and one regular. I am happy with all of them.

Quality at a tremendous price
The reel was smooth as a Shimano, nice as a Daiwa, better that a pflueger and half the price, beat inflation buy an Okuma Avenger🤗

Faulty Drag System
The bait runner capabilities are nice but the drag on that and the regular drag system are cheap and don’t allow you to adjust much. When I get to where I want the drag tension in the matter of one click it changes from 6 lb drag to 10+lbs of drag, the drag should incrementally increase per click an issue found only in cheaper drag systems. For a brand like Okuma I expected a better product. This product should be in the $30-$40 range not what they are charging for it.

value for money
i used this reel yesterday, loaded up with 8lb line and fished on a feeder rod, caught plenty of fish (carp) and the bait runner feature was very useful, very smooth with excellent drag. Overall very impressed for the price and will buy another one soon.
