I sell vintage Barbie items and always welcome new guidebooks. I have the previous edition (2011) of this guide and will not be getting rid of it. More on the reason later in this review. This new edition is loaded with great photos of the complete Barbie outfits and sets along with outfit names, set numbers, dates issued, and price ranges from NRFB to complete sets removed from the box and played with. I love the number of different outfits on each page. I am making this book my go-to book to find and identify vintage Barbie clothes rather than the 3 volume set of Barbie Clothes guides books printed in the early 1990's by another author. This book covers outfits for Barbie, Ken, Skipper, Ricky, and Francie dolls. This guide can be best used in tandem with the previous edition. Why I say that is this: the second edition shows the vintage dolls themselves and what they came with in their original boxes. This information is in the beginning. As for the outfits, it had few photos of them but the good part of the second edition is that each item in an outfit is broken down with its own price. I'll be using the new third edition to look up the outfits and if I need to see what one part of the outfit is worth, I can go to the second guide for that. I am very happy that this third edition will enhance my searching for the outfits by limited my search to only one book instead of three.
