Great stuff works well with seedings keeps roots moist as it retains water very well.

Good product. I wonder is it supposed to spread? It doesn't seem to expand like i thought it would. Fine either way.

Great value. Easy to expand & mix in with potting mix. I used 1 brick per large grow bag. My formula is 1 part coir, 1 part potting mix, 1/2 part compost & 2 cups perlite.

Super compressed coco coir bricks which need to be soaked before use. Chipping with a knife not recommended due to this. Once saturated with water though it breaks apart into many small fibers which can easily be squeezed to drain out excess water and use as a substrate for plants.

I purchased this thinking it would be great for potted plants or even a small gardening area. The bricks did not expand like I thought they would. I had to use two for a large flower pot for gardenia plant. For the price I just should’ve bought a thing of Peat Moss. It was just equivalent to that. live and learn.

The bricks I received were far easier to deal with than the coco coir bricks from years ago. The ones I received were easy to break up set, they reconstituted very quickly, and the scent was mild but noticable. In the picture is one brick that's been prepared and patted down, next to another brick from the same batch.

This works very well….. second year I’ve used it in my planters here in Maine.

I purchased these last year and was very happy with what I got. The product itself is great added to garden soil instead of using peat moss which is both expensive and becoming a rare and irreplaceable product. Unfortunately, this year’s purchase of the blocks was a bit disappointing. For a higher price I got smaller blocks (probably half the size as the previous year. I will know for sure when I soak them. Last year’s blocks once hydrated easily filled a five gallon bucket. Don’t see how these small blocks will do the same.
