KAIRAY Double Hitch Receiver 2 inch Trailer Hitch Extension Riser

I bought this to raise the height of my fishing pole holder and it has been the perfect fit to hold my poles during travel and while fishing the beach, allows me to use my tailgate as a work area.

I bought this so I could move my snowmobile trailer around my yard without firing up the tow rig. Super impressed with the sturdiness. Why? I had a dead car stuck in the mud that is my rusty acres. Normally I would put a recovery hook on the hitch of my Foreman 450. I hammered down with a snatch strap a few times and this thing held up. Well past it's operating parameters. Complaints? Fitment in the receiver is a bit loose. That may be the adapter on my quad though.

Mounted and used it for a couple months to attach a kairay basket style cargo carrier. Worked very well so far. It was the perfect height to mount the basket type carrier which probably was 16 -20 inch deep on my suv. I could even open my trunk with the cargo carrier attached. Some downsides I saw was it does not allow folding the carrier that could be handy in some parking spots when the carrier is empty. I do see some rust in the 3 months of use. Need to probably spray paint it.

Allows use of winch while trailer is connected. Also works with skid steer boom to add winch.

Well into Social Security means it’s a lot harder to lift a beach cart (above), a load of potting soil or an 8 point up onto a carrier like this, but the job just got a little easier. For highway travel use the straight hitch, but on location flip the hitch and now the carrier is closer to the ground. Also, note the hitch has several extension holes to move the whole thing farther from your bumper. That makes tying down 8 big crab traps easier, and might help avoid tailgate scratches. Then with the extension flipped over and using a long necked trailer, there is an option for attaching a small platform above the main trailer. A lot of flexibility for the cost, if within tongue weight limits. Additionally two heavy stainless set screws are included to squeeze your tongue within the hitch, minimizing rattle and vibration.

Didn't fit the hitch ... at all? how is this meant to work? is 1-1/4 inch not a standard measurement?

Need to add measurements as it didn’t fit properly! Only fits upside down or lower to the ground!

This product has a good finishing as described and shown in the pictures. I had to cut some sections to adjust to my car's rear dimensions. In general happy for material and product performance.

Purchased the 10” rise/drop and Installed on truck. Haven’t towed with it yet but it’s use will be for towing my Squaredrop camper I just recently built and using a motorcycle carrier to carry my e-bike while camping. Seems very robust and well constructed! This is the first review of this product on Amazon and Fingers crossed it will live up to its weight and appearance!
