Restore antique stove knobs!
This lacquer stick is exactly what I needed after this 1940s Wedgewood stove oven knob black lettering wore off. The numbers are etched so you simple smudge this knob to cover the entire area around the numbers and letters until it's completely covered. Then you start wiping the excess off with a old t shirt and paper towel with vegetable oil. The wiping off takes several days. You won't be able to do it all in one day. Just work a little each day until it looks good. Got to be patient. Best stuff for restoring antique etched letters on knobs
