How much does one tube cover ?

For good coverage, you need 1 1/2 tubes per 4x8 sheet of drywall. You need to use the proper amount in order to get good noise reduction.

I am trying to sound proof the walls in a room in a doublewide. Would this stuff be effective or is there a better solution?

I'm assuming there is no sound insulation in the wall, so I would use Owens Corning Safe & Sound to fill the cavity, then I would use resilient channel with clips for the sound isolation then the last would be adding Green Glue with 5/8" sheetrock. In addition, you might look at mass loaded vinyl layer on the inside of the wall. It all depends on your budget and how effective you want the sound suppression to be. The problem with most of these solution is the quantity you have to buy, making them prohibitively expensive.

Are these supposed to have screw on tips? i received a box with 6 threaded tubes, but no tips to screw on! how do i get them???

My box came with 4 extra screw-on nozzles! I would contact the manufacturer and have them send you the nozzles. They might carry them at your local department store, but it's possible there are different sizes (I don't know what size they would be).

can you put it between two large thick sheets of paper and hang the result on the wall? Is it toxic at all?

You can but will have no effect on noise. The use of thick 5/8 drywall with the glue is what stops noise. Don't think it's toxic.
