Crossover Symmetry system is a Life Time exercise program, for daily use, and when the system is mastered will take under 10 minutes to have daily therapy for the health of your shoulders. First the quality is way above any resistance band on the market. If you hold Crossover Cord in one hand and any Resistance Band in the other hand, for the same poundage applied force, Crossover Cord feels heavier. Actually 7 lbs Crossover Cord weight as much as 40 lbs regular Resistance band. The same feeling like when you wear the best athletic shoes at the gym, compared with the cheap ones. Second the aesthetic look, not so important, but is a reminder you have a lifetime commitment to your health, to your shoulders. Third, Crossover Cords I use the bands only for shoulder health exercises, they can be used for any kind of training, but to respect the original intend and the health benefits of this quality product, I use it only for shoulder therapy. I have regular cords(good quality also) for my regular training. I lift weights 3 days at the gym and 4 days kickboxing at home, so resistance bands are part of my activity. Bottom line the $45 is justified and the product gives value for the money. The cheapest way to go is to use regular bands, but you can not have any results without Crossover Symmetry learning package. We all love YouTube and can watch for free some video, unfortunately, is not the same like Education Package from Crossover Symmetry website. Cost :$70.82 ($55+$15.82 shipping). You need also Heavy Duty Door stoppers 4 of them another $36. And whatever you pay for regular cords 7 lbs and 15 lbs( Athletic Crossover Symmetry package) another $20. The cheapest way is under $130. Crossover Athletic package is $195. Go figure if $65 savings makes sens for lifetime benefit of this system. Bottom line, you can do it without Crossover Cords, but you can not do it without Crossover Symmetry Educational package. Sorry for the bad news. And yes you can buy from eBay only $20 Videos with Crossover Symmetry, but the same argument: Difference between quality shoes and crappy ones. In my case since I bought just Crossover Educational package ( from external Crossover Symmetry site the individual video package is not listed on Amazon), 2 Crossover Cords and 2 door anchors (Amazon). I paid $178 for the Crossover Symmetry full protocol. Life time investment in health. And my home set up was already good to go with regular bands, and minimum expenses on Crossover Symmetry. Might be just in my mind, Placebo Effect or whatever the reason, after 3 days of intense use, Activation and Recovery Crossover sets, without going to the gym or do any other physical activity, I did not take any more Advil for constant "burning sensation" in my shoulders. Now I'm ready to go back to do what I love at the gym and at home.

There is nothing to dislike about these Symmetry Crossover Cords. They are top of the line resistance bands that come with a sturdy safety covering, providing protection for the eyes if the Latex band inside were to snap. I doubt it very much that these bands would snap. I can now work with confidence, and not worry about having to wear safety goggles! That's how good these bands are. I now regret having bought plain latex bands. I recommend this purchase without any reservations. They met all my expectations, and more. If I could have given this product a six star review, that would have been my rating. Why? Because of the superb customer service that Symmetry provides. They not only sell an excellent product, but in addition, support it. If you are into working out with Bands, instead of free weight, then look no further and purchase this product. You will not regret it.

Really great but quite expensive

well made. Bought it because it was what the PT clinic used and I figured they would know which brand bands are best.

Great product. My gym has the 15lb bands so opted for the 40lb bands. I wouldn’t recommend the 40s if you didn’t have access to a lower resistance level. The 40s are great for multi joint presses and pulls as well as static holds. Great strength builder. The 40s are a bit limited for more complex angles that target smaller muscle groups unless you’ve got experience and strength. If you have the money, buy multiple bands, if you don’t, buy a lighter band to focus on mobility and activating your full range of motion.

Love these for prepping for an upper body workout, but they have also been instrumental in my rotator cuff rehab. Great product and worth the money!

We purchased the entire novice package for our daughter. She dislocated her shoulder this past year, and we need a system to use at home to strengthen her shoulder girdle. We did lots of physio - and we found this system to be extremely helpful. The only difficulty we had was that we used the door straps to anchor the system in the kitchen. Our doors aren't large enough for the straps - we only had one door in the entire house that it fit. But great, great system - and instructional videos are very specific and detailed.
