What is Evelon fabric? is is soft like cotton or noisy and rough like vinyl? Thanks

The one I purchased is not rough and noisy, but not as soft as cotton. With a sheet, you do not know it is there.

I understand this fabric is Evelon (which is a form of polyester) but does it seem like a cotton sheet or can you tell it's poly? Shiny? Stretch? Thx!
