Will this with work with an aluminum storm door?

It could be used but would require. Framing the the cat door with 1x2 or something similar. I installed mine 5/8 siding and had to put a wood frame around it after inserting it in the hole I cut in the door. It is made for fitting on an 1 1/2 inch thick door. Hope this explanation helps it requires some extra work but mine works fine.

Can you remove the magnet?

I attempted to remove the magnets but stopped once I realized that the magnets seemed to be either built into the actual unit and covered by the rubber seal and/or the magnet is embedded in the bottom of the frame and trying to remove it would damage the overall integrity of the frame and flap.

When both entries are closed, how much noise reduction/deafening is there? i.e. will it be much help at keeping outside noise outside of the room?

When installed properly, outside noise does not noticeably increase in my experience.

How do i remove the flap?

The flap/door is not removable unless you break the tabs that hold the door to the frame (this may end up damaging the frame). I have used masking tape to hold the door open when necessary.

I wanted to return the item due to bad quality

The door magnet is not working properly and it is made of very poor quality plastic. I wanted to return but it has to be shipped myself. Unfortunately I have no option to go out. Also I see that "refund would be credited less 30% from the original amount as a restocking fees". Very disapponting. I am a regular customer of Amazon. They should pick the item and refund me full money. It is a worthless product.
