Noctua NT-H2 3.5G, Pro-Grade Thermal Compound Paste Incl. 3 Cleaning Wipes for Desktop PC (3.5G)

Purchased the product after checking various comparison reviews. there are not too many available and some are very old reviews. Found Noctua NT-H1 to be one of best though may not be THE Best. However the few that are better than this have too big a price difference for a very small change in performance or are not readily available in the market in India. Though not accurate I would say the comparisons found this at a relative score of 8.5 out of 10 approx. Following are the features as I noted or experienced while using the product: (Note: I own a HP DV7T early i7 from HP, And it used to heat up very badly and giving blue crash screens too often. Please also look at cleaning the fan and its ducts to see if that solves your problem first before using the thermal pastes. Also you may also think of installing a software that will show you the exact temp difference before and after the use of paste which I have not done.) 1. It was non conducting to electricity (important as I know I would be very clumsy and make mistakes while applying) 2. It was very well priced. and was also the best of the lot and also readily available on Amazon. 3. It was easy to apply. (You can keep a dot of it on the surface and just press on the heat sink or you may also use a plastic card of some kind to spread it. It should not be too thick a layer as its only purpose is to remove air gaps and at the same time conduct heat. 4. I could sense that it brought down the heat considerably (I however do not have a software to measure it before-after). (Note: cleaning of the fan and ducts also helped. But overall it removed my heat related errors and now allows me to use the laptop)

Best paste to use for gaming purpose. I have 13900KS and i had Arctic MX-6 paste on my CPU and it wasn't able to control the beast CPU temps on gaming loads or during shader optimizations, it instantly went to 85 degrees sometimes touching 90degs. I did all the BIOS tweaks, it couldn't contain temps below 80degres which was my target with my Corsair iCUE H150i Elite CAPELLIX XT. I bought and applied this paste and my temps dropped by 10 degrees. Idle my temps are now 28-34 and on gaming purpose or shader compilation it remains cool and only reach 65degrees at Balanced PUMP speed which is way good.

I used this for my hp pavillion gaming laptop15. Specs:i510300h and GTX 1650. Saw drastic decrease in temps, especially for the CPU. The previous paste i used Arctic mx4 had pump out which made the paste useless after 2 weeks. This does not show any performance degradation with time. Also you will have to use the system normally and make it go through some heat cycles for the paste to work as intended ,even tho they claim there is no curing period. Overall a very good product.

Amazing thermal paste outstanding performance. Takes times to settle temperature. Very easy to apply.

1. Good thermal conductivity. 2. Reduced high load temperature. Good functionality. Good for gaming. 3. No need for settling the paste. 4. Good package. 5. Considering the effect, value is justified.

Price: rs1096 Seller: appario retail This was the cheapest per gram (branded) on amazon, Bought 10 gram tube for rs 1096, as i have multiple devices like desktop, laptops, console etc. Product packaging date was also new (just 1 month old). I had some arctic mx4 paste left that was 4 years old. I must say mx4 performs better and is my recommendation. Mx4 gave 2 to 3 degree less as per my stress test. This paste is thicker than mx4 so i hope that on bare die / copper cooler this lasts longer (google 'pump out' flaw of thermal pastes). Mx4 4g was 749rs (i already have it so wanted to try different brand), mx5 4g was 899rs, nt-h2 3.5g was 1600rs and 10g was 2000rs, that is the reason i bought this.

Product received in good condition. Easy to apply and effective. Good to go
