**Q: Do I need a certain pole for this, or can I use my pole for my travel cover(pointed)**
A: Most every manufacture uses the same size support pole.  I would say about 97% of all covers have the right pole.  So, I think you will be fine on this one.

**Q: Does it come with the canvas square?**
A: Yes it comes with canvas square and installation instructions

**Q: Do you need to use glue to prevent the canvas top from splitting? I would think the hole made may tend to rip under pressure from the pole?**
A: It would depend on the quality and condition of your canvas, but I did use rubber cement on both surfaces to prevent tearing.  I have had the vents on my canvas for about 4-5 years, including travel on highways, and have not seen any tearing due to the vents.
