Doesn't work with Intel MacBooks, and Asus displays
For some reason, I guess it's some quirk with the DisplayPort chipset, when connecting specifically an Intel MacBook to an Asus display (I've tried two different models), the picture just hangs and eventually the monitor completely crashes! Have to unplug it from the wall to get any buttons to response and etcetera. I can't entirely blame this product specifically though - it's possible that I just have a specific bad combination of hardware here. Works perfectly on my other M1 Pro MacBook, which obviously uses a different (on-die) DisplayPort/Thunderbolt controller.

Plug and play
Added this to my TS4 so that I can gain access to a second screen. Literally just a case of plug in and hey presto, second external monitor appeared and kicked into life. Running a QHD monitor on it. (have 2 in total) No hassle, and all the features are up and running.

I have a pile of DP to HDMI adapters I've tried. This CalDigit one is the ONLY one I've found to work reliably and I have four of them plugged in, currently. Even the CableMatters adapter doesn't work as well as this one. If you are still having issues with this adapter, it is probably your cable. Before you blame the adapter, combine it with a RUIPRO Fiber Optic HDMI cable. Yes, even down to 6ft or even 3ft in length.

Using it with wqxhd monitor, thing is cool as can be. Coming from an hdmi adapter that started showing glitches an becoming incredibly hot this is such a better performance. Caldigit always trusted also, just buy it if you need this conversion.

Stavo cercando un adattatore dp per il mio nuovo display 4K 60 hz . Dopo un lungo periodo di ricerca ho trovato questa marca caldigit grazie a un YouTuber Però il suo prodotto era quello più costoso di quello che ho ordinato , quindi con le dita incrociate ho voluto provarlo . prima di questo articolo ho provato adattatori delle altre marche con descrizione che supportano 4 60 hz però dopo l’acquisto scopri una brutta sorpresa che supporta solo 30hz !!!!! . Consiglio questo prodotto : 1 supporta VERAMENTE 4K 60hz !!!!
