If you've read this far, then you know this is a great saga. Volume 9 is good, but it's not my favorite. The time jumping is starting to get tiresome. It would be nice to close up some story lines then to start yet again another time jump. Overall, still a great read and highly recommend.

BUY THIS BOOK! RIGHT NOW! Absolutely Fantastic! Naoki Urasawa's work never disappoints. I force myself to read these books AS. SLOW. AS. POSSIBLE. so that they last longer and I can appreciate the excellent characterisation and facial expressions, the general dynamics of a panel and also imagine what the environment sounds like and feels like. A feat that is easily achieved by how well the world-building is in this piece of narrative. The entire 20th Century Boys story is a masterful example of Japanese manga.
