It is a fair purchase. But the cover was a little shabby. And there was a pen mark inside but overall quite good book with great information.

straight to the point
Among many books available on C++, and in particular OOP, this one stands apart for its clarity and engaging writing style. Although it may be not as thorough as Stroustrup's or Meyers' books, it still is quite helpful if you want to start coding immediately and get practical, almost instantaneous results.
