I use them for decoration. The top rest on the base....does not clamp. **Q: Can you delivery before mothers day?** A: In the past I would have said yes,,today I'm looking for a new supplier. I order 2 weeks ago and they have been sitting less than an hr away for the last week and I needed them for an event yesterday.
