Write nice but quality is poor. Three of the refills broke within 2 weeks with the ball falling out of the writing tip, making it unusable. Also they don't last long, but guess that's down to the small size.

The pen (body) can be used for a long time so extra ink refills are good.

I use Frixion pens for making my study notebooks. I like to keep the information neat and tidy, and being able to erase any mistakes keeps the ~~aesthetic~~ of the notebook pleasing to the eye without any distractions of crossed off words or whited out blocks. I can have the information colour coded by using these rather than a smudgeable and monochrome pencil. These refills designed for the slim 0.38 point Frixion pens are excellent value. My only complaint with the Slim pens themselves is how quickly the ink runs empty. On stationery sites a single refill costs around $3.28CAD, and a 3 pack of either blue, red or black is $7.60CAD. This is all prior to shipping fees to have them sent overseas. To buy the 3set of all 3 standard colours is $22.80CAD, then you have to add shipping costs on top of that, and wait for weeks for it to arrive from China/Japan.

I tested one of each color as soon as I received them. They wrote beautifully - smooth and bright as the original. If only they weren't so expensive for the small amount of ink in each cartridge. The 0.38 size works well in my Hobo Weeks grid. I started using this Frixion ink because my Jetstream 3 refills always seem to fail. They were the most unreliable cartridge ever. They would clog up and refuse to start. I've thrown out 80% of my brand new refills because I couldn't get them to write properly. Anyway these refills work great out of the package.
