aren't all these glues simply overpriced Cyanoacrylates or crazy glue?  what's the difference?

Well... this glue flex's a little, sands better.  As they have said a little goes a long way I tend to use too much. Your question on cost, yes it is kinda pricey.  Some people have used Beacon Fabri-Tac  it coast a lot less about $10 at Michaels for 8fl oz,  but, its to Hot, tends to burn the foam I don't think its worth using it.  I have also experimented, with white glue, gorilla glue, all have worded for different applications on foam board from Dollar Tree Store. This other product called Super RC Z 55 which Amazon sells for $3 works well. That glue is intended for canopy's, all have worked,  So in the long run this foam tack works.  I hope this helps.

How old is this glue on Amazon, because it will age & start turning white and no longer be fresh flowing liquid gel glue, but sticky & not very good?

This glue is made of Mesozoic dinosaur bones, like all petroleum products, so is about 83 million years old. Heh. 
Seriously GREAT GLUE. Very quick holding power, unlike most of the others. And it doesn't hurt most foams. Test first. 
BUT: IT WILL THICKEN WITH AGE. A LITTLE ACETONE THINS IT VERY WELL. So if you get it, also get acetone.  
The other way to keep it fresh is to get the package of little tubes.

Will this work for ski goggle foam?

My experience with this product is with building EPP foam airplanes. Yes, this should work for your application and the advantage is that it retains some flexibility.

Question. can this glue be used in the field for fast rc plane repairs and  continue flying.???

Yes. I have used it in the field. It cures quite quickly but states 24 hours or less for full bonding. Usually 1 hour is sufficient depending on air temperature and what part you are repairing. Warmer the temp. the better. Great glue and bonding. I recommend.
