Seal the end of 6 in. Sewer and Drain (S&D) pipe with the 6 in. PVC S&D Cap. This cap is used to stop the flow of water at the end of the pipeline. The cap is made of heavy-duty polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and can be solvent-welded for a watertight connection. Meets applicable ASTM standards. For use in non-pressurized underground sewer and drainage applications; maximum working pressure of 5 psi. Review: Super effective way to keep valuables buried and safe - I have some property up in the foothills and I’m only there about four or five times a year but I like to keep some important stuff there so I use these little PVC pipes and the caps to protect them against the weather, critters, thieves, etc. This is the perfect set up for that. You can use them for important documents, packages of seeds, dried foods, and probably even a weapon and ammo. These caps fit perfectly. I had bought some at Home Depot a while back and they were pretty tight And extremely difficult to get off. These ones seem to fit just a little bit better. So highly recommend these caps for your little homemade safes should you choose to make them.
