As a nurse that works in a hospital, I’m constantly giving this to my patients. It’s always the laxative used because it is gentle and won’t make you cramp up. I finally started using it myself and it works great! Just mix a scoop of powder to a glass of water or juice daily and you will be regular without bloat, which was my problem. It’s nearly tasteless as well. Easy to use and comes in a handy resealable bottle in good proportions.

I tried this brand because the well-known one is just outrageously priced right now (like many things nowadays) and the Amazon brand version was out of stock at the time. We’ve been pleasantly surprised with it. Same ingredients and effectiveness as the main major brand for half or a third of the price (depending when you get it) for the same size bottle, same exact thing - dosage, and texture. Has a similar type of easy measure cap. Zero side effects at all so far from this product/brand. The bottle size is generous and well worth it for this generic. It is effective and gentle to use. So if you would prefer to spend around $10 or so for the same size large bottle as the name brand for $20+ then I highly recommend giving this brand a chance.

I found it dissolves more smoothly if I stir for a good 30–45 seconds, but once it’s in, you really wouldn’t know it’s there. In terms of effect, it works gently and reliably. It’s a very manageable solution for occasional constipation without throwing off my daily routine. I also appreciate that it can be adjusted—using smaller or larger scoops depending on what’s needed, always staying within the recommended dosing. A couple of things to keep in mind: it’s not an instant fix, so if you’re looking for overnight results, this isn’t the product. Also, since it’s a big container, it’s worth having a small scoop handy for consistent measuring. I recommend keeping it tightly sealed too, as the powder can clump if exposed to moisture. Bottom line: A gentle, effective, and budget-friendly solution for constipation relief. Works just as well as the brand name at a fraction of the cost.
