OX 2.8mm Mechanical Carpenter Pencils with 4 Leads & Sharpener

I'm renovating my home. I used the pencil for all my measuring and cutting needs. I like the sharpener that's built into the pencil holder. The holder protects the pencil point from breaking. The clip on the holder is good, but it doesn't always stay in place. I will note, I often wear synthetic material shorts with material on the slicker side.

I ordered two of these over a year ago. I frequently use them and the have been great. I bought two so I can have one graphite and one white at hand as some projects use bit dark and light materials. Sharpener works well. The skinny shaft makes it easy to get into tight spaces. The holster has a nice fit, though it wood be nice if the clip was a bit more flexible. Mechanical feed works flawlessly. I also noted that this item has dropped in price. I paid about $15 a year ago and it is now just under $13. Kudos to the company for working on efficiency and passing price savings onto the consumer. We need more companies to do the same!

These are, by far, my favorite pencils for woodworking! They combine the ease of use of mechanical pencils with the sturdiness and practicality of carpenters' pencils. The sheath is handy for keeping your pencil's point sharp and will stay clipped to your pocket when you pull the pencil out. The black "lead" is standard graphite, while the other colors have a more waxy consistency, more suited for working on metal and plastic. I've seen similar designs, but this one is unique in that the squared profile keeps the pencil from rolling and the sharpener integrated into the sheath is much more convenient, in my opinion, to other brands that have a sharpener that you have to unscrew from the cap on top of the pencil.

Owned 2 of these, they work great. However the top caps on both pencils would constantly fall off until they eventually were lost, leaving now way to push out more lead. I've never had one last more than a few months with daily use

Amazing product, I am newer to wood work but this pencil is so convenient from the case, to the refills, to the easy push dispenser whatever its called lol. Highly recommended.

Perfect mechanical pencil .. easy to refill .. holder comes with a sharpener .. and it’s baby blue color makes it extremely easy to spot ( for those that leave your pencil behind ) love it !

used and destroyed many carpenter pencils. These are the only ones that have survived. Ergonomics are also the best.

Always used tracer but found out fairly quickly that they fall out of the loose holder they come with. Was going to buy a Milwaukee pencil but the price is ridiculous for one then I came across this thing on here. Ticks all the boxes for me and I like the colour so win win. Perfectly priced and if need be I’ll buy again.
