This ashwagandha product I've tried noticeably enhanced my sleep quality, and have induced intense and vivid dreams. During the day, I felt more relaxed, but occasional fatigue was a minor drawback to its effects. However, it's worth noting that the intensity of dreams might not suit everyone's preferences. I am so thrilled to have found this product! Unlike most others, my original intention with taking Ashwagandha was to raise my body's PH level. Long story, but I had been battling thrush for almost a year. After trying many prescription medications, I finally figured out that my body's very low PH level was the culprit. To raise my PH level, I tried changing my diet and even went as far as drinking Apple Cider Vinegar. YUCK!!! Thanks to a random article that popped up on Facebook, I found Ashwagandha. Along with other awesome benefits, it is VERY high on the PH scale. When combined with a better diet (more fruits/veggies, fewer meats/dairy) the Ashwagandha helped get my PH to an acceptable level within a week! And my thrush is gone! YIPPY!! I started by taking just 1 pill a day for the first 5 days. To be honest, I was a little nervous. It did make my stomach a little "gurgley" for a few days. But I never felt ill due to it. After 5 days, I started taking 1 pill with breakfast and 1 pill with dinner. Not only has it helped with my PH level, but it has reduced my anxiety, and overall it has boost my mood. Since having my son almost 3 years ago, I never really felt like myself. I become irritated easily, worry about everything, and overall just kinda grumpy. After taking Ashwagandha for about 10 days, I was finally able to look at my husband and say "I feel like myself again!" I feel a lot more laid back, and a lot less agitated. I have been taking it about 3 weeks now, and personally have not noticed improvements in sleep or energy. But getting my PH level in check, and curing my borderline anxiety disorder, this stuff is amazing!! There are a million brands out there to choose from. After doing a days worth of research, I choose this brand because it's contains actual extract (some are just the root powder) and it has the 5% Withanolides. To me, it seemed like the biggest bang for you buck.

I've been taking this product every day for about 1 year, and it's amazing. The main benefits I've noticed are: - More energy during the day. - Better sleep at night. - Haven't gotten sick at all since starting it. - It is a powerful nootropic. I've recommended it to a lot of my friends and it's become a staple of my diet. I haven't even gotten a cold, a runny nose, or anything since I started taking this. I stopped taking it for a week at one point when I ran out and the next bottle hadn't come yet. I definitely noticed decreased energy during that time, and then as soon as I got back on it, I felt great again. The energy you get as a result of it is not a "fake" kind of energy like you get from caffeine; it's more like it improves your body's functionality in general which allows it to operate at a more optimal level overall. Also, if you are into nootropics, this is a quality addition to your supplement regimen and it is something I wouldn't want to go without. However, there is one downside. The company used to make this using HPMC capsules (the picture on Amazon, as of me writing this review, still reflects HPMC in the ingredients). This is basically the standard capsule that you see in vegetarian-friendly supplements (as opposed to gelatin, which is more common, but made out of animals). However, the company recently stopped using HPMC in favor of using tapioca capsules instead. This is unusual and I've never taken another supplement that used it. When I tried their new tapioca version, I had horrible digestive issues (I was in the bathroom 5 times a day), which immediately disappeared when I stopped taking it. So I have taken to breaking the capsules, pouring the contents into a smoothie or a glass of juice, and drinking it. It's not a huge deal, but it's obviously less convenient, and most people who buy capsules would probably prefer to be able to just swallow the capsule rather than having to make a smoothie and mix it in, so that is something you should be aware of. I hope they decide to go back to HPMC in the future, because using tapioca is such a strange decision. Also, if you are a vegan, you should be aware of the fact that, according to the company, their ashwagandha does contain traces of dairy, as a result of the extraction process they use. They have updated the labeling on the new bottles, but the Amazon pictures still show "contains no dairy" which is incorrect. It is, as far as I am aware, a minuscule amount (my body doesn't tolerate dairy, but I can consume this supplement without issue), so it may not have any effect on you, but it is something to be aware of if you have a very strong allergy to it. It is also worth noting that the company's customer service is very good, and they responded quickly to my questions and were knowledgeable and friendly. In summary: - PROS: Boosts energy, boosts quality of sleep, prevents sickness, positive cognitive effects, and good customer service. - CONS: Non-standard capsules, and incorrect information regarding ingredients in Amazon pictures. - RECOMMENDATION: If not for the new capsules, this would be 5 stars. I definitely recommend you try it and see how it works for you, and if your body doesn't respond well to the capsules then try the smoothie method that I mentioned. If you prefer the HPMC capsules like I do, please write to the company and let them know!

There are several options out there to choose from when buying supplements, and Ashwagandha is no exception. I was drawn to buy from DailyNutra because they offered a good price for what seemed to be a high quality product, with a great formulation and no additional fillers. DailyNutra mentions they're committed to avoid unnecessary ingredients, GMOs and other undesired components on their supplements and so far it seems to be true! This Ashwagandha from DailyNutra uses the KSM-66 formulation along with BioPerine (Black pepper extract) to enhance absorption, that's how you know they now their stuff!! I've seen (and tried) other Ash supplements without this formulation and they were simply not great. Each serving (1 capsule) contains 600mg of KSM-66 ashwagandha extract with 5.0% Withanolides. This specific formulation is what you should be looking for in an Ash supplement. Now, in my experience, I haven't noticed a drastic decrease of anxiety or a direct improvement on my sleep quality. Mainly because the effects have been more subtle. For instance, I've been able to withstand stressful situations a bit better, I feel more at ease and easy-going and lately I've been killing it at the gym. All of this is anecdotal and take it with a grain of salt since there are many other factors that may impact these observations, such as diet, lifestyle, genetics, etc. But nonetheless I would still recommend this brand to someone looking to buy a high quality Ashwagandha. Also, their product packaging feels really premium and that's something I feel gets overlooked in the supplement industry, extra points for that!
