Will it strip the color out? Especially the red tone?** A: I've been coloring my hair a deep auburn red for years and have been using the Tarsum shampoo for almost 2 years and as of yet it has not changed or stripped the color at all. Remember though that red color usually fades quicker than other colors. I normally color my hair every 5-6 weeks. **Q: How long can I leave this in my hair before washing it out?** A: Directions: For use as a scalp treatment before bathing: twist open applicator tip. I swear you only need to do it a couple of times. The first time for 15 minutes. The second time leave it on for an hour. It is a very foaming shampoo. I use a good moisturizing cream rinse after.
