It adds just the right cozy light to my small living room. The foot switch is incredibly convenient, and the lamp is lightweight but stable. And the LED bulbs mean it won't get too hot. I really like the way the Tyvek shade looks both lit and unlit. To me, it looks far more expensive that it is.I had only minor difficulty assembling the lamp; it took a lot of hand strength to get the top spring compressed enough to position the bottom frame under the center pole.
