This is my go to refill ink on all my pens. It is smooth and doesn’t smear. Downside of it being a gel ink, it does seem to run out relatively quickly.

Works well for what I needed. No smearing. Writes smoothly.

I like the bold, clean line that this refill leaves. It writes smoothly. I am new to D1 refills and was surprised by how little ink there is, but I understand that is the nature of the D1 refills and am not disappointed.

These pen refills write really smooth but be warned they don't last long!

Since the hot topic with these refills is how they can't write for long, I wanted to objectively see for myself. I loaded this refill into a Zebra Techo T-3 Mini Pen and wrote in a 9.75" by 7.5" wide-ruled composition book until the refill died. I was expecting about 3 pages or so but was kinda blown away when I got just shy of 10 and a half pages. This is my first experience with D1 refills, and now I feel like they are kinda legit if you wanna carry a very small pen.

Yes that was a bit of an exaggeration about the amount of words you get out this refill, I do not know how many words you can write per refill but I do know it is not that many. I love how these write, it dries quick, didn’t have any issues with smudging, ink blobs, or running ink. They would be the perfect refill for my cross pen if they lasted. I guess that is the nature of the best having this size pen but every other refill I have tried last 2-3 times longer at least. I also did have to put a piece of clear scotch tape on the end so it would stay in place and not fall out, I could easily deal with that though if I wasn’t going through at least one refill every week. I have had 1 or 2 of these that did last quite a while but the other 6+ I’ve used did not, so I am not entirely sure if it’s hit and miss or what the deal is. I do know I cannot afford to buy these when they only last a couple days.

Great flow and smooth writing. These fit perfectly to replace a portable pen. Great value and worked better than expected. Will purchase again.

I filled 30 of 48 pages of my 3.5" x 5.5" Field Notes pad with one of these refills. The ink is smooth and much darker than the Uni Jetstream refill (SXR-200-05). I prefer this ink and will continue to use it in my pad
