Worked perfectly on my wife’s computer but I trusted AI again with my computer and it was a’swing and a miss’…it told me it had a HDD drive and it didn’t and then said I could upgrade the SSD drive it had to this one and the drive was actually the size of a bandaid…wife’s computer runs faster and better…AI walked me through the whole change from her HDD

Value wise bout same price range as Nvme SSD's i managed to get mine on sale. Its says its fast and its definitely fast that much i can garentee. It weighs little to nothing. Durability so long as you don't purposely try to break it, it will last much longer than HDD and is a good SSD if you need one ment for Sata connectivity. Got it for my old Hp Pavilion g7 laptop and it maxes out the storage with the fastest read and write speeds possible for my laptop so i consider it a win.

Samsungs are great drives. This one is to replace my backup drive that quit working. I had built one of my PCs on a budget and used Patriot 250 to build the OS on. I later bought a Samsung M2 for the OS that installed neatly on the board. So I initially cloned the Patriot to the Samsung. Later, when I used backup software, the M2 (Source Drive) listed as Drive 2. Weird. Since it is the C: drive for the OS. Thus my Patriot regular SSD (Now being used at Target Drive) backup drive, showed as Drive 1. I did this for over a year until my backup quietly failed. And then I realized the Patriot is smaller by 9GB. It is 223, the Samsung is 232. Before I came to that realization, I thought I had a software problem, so I reinstalled Discwizard (Note, you must have One Seagate drive for versions later that SeagateDiscWizard_28500) and then used an upgraded version. The problem went like this: clone/backup restarted into DOS then opened it's UEFI dialog and then the clone disk window opened. I looked like it was about to start copying. Then it just restarted. No error message was ever shown. The backup quietly failed. I saw with the Windows Disk Manager that the Patriot was too small for the partition backup from the Samsung. The fix was easy, Samsung drive is now backed up to Samsung all great. I mention this for anyone who has a phantom cloning failure. You probably just need to go shopping.

This thing is the TRUTH! I had a seagate HDD 2tb that came with my dell 5770 inspiron laptop and it was SLOOOOW! It would take my computer so long to boot it was crazy! I did a few google searches on what to buy and watched a few youtube videos and boy I bought it here on amazon and figured out a way to install it and man my computer running real smooth! YOu will not be disappointed folks trust me! My insprion 5770 was purchased in 2018 and it's running like new with windows 11!

Ich habe meine alte HDD durch diese Samsung 870 EVO ersetzt und der Unterschied ist gewaltig. Der PC bootet jetzt in wenigen Sekunden statt gefühlten Minuten und Programme öffnen sich sofort. Die Geschwindigkeit ist wirklich beeindruckend. Die Installation war unkompliziert. SSD einbauen, mit der Samsung Data Migration Software die alte Festplatte klonen und fertig. Das hat bei mir etwa eine Stunde gedauert für 500GB Daten. Die Software ist intuitiv und macht den Umstieg sehr einfach, auch für Leute ohne großes technisches Wissen. Die Geschwindigkeiten von 560 MB/s beim Lesen und 530 MB/s beim Schreiben werden in der Praxis auch erreicht. Große Dateien kopieren sich deutlich schneller als vorher. Auch beim Gaming merke ich den Unterschied - Ladezeiten sind minimal und Texturen laden flüssig nach. Die 2TB Kapazität ist großzügig bemessen. Ich habe Betriebssystem, alle Programme, Spiele und noch viel Platz für Daten. Endlich muss ich nicht mehr ständig überlegen, was ich löschen kann. Die Investition in die größere Variante hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Was ich besonders schätze: Samsung ist bekannt für Zuverlässigkeit und Langlebigkeit bei SSDs. Die 5-Jahre-Garantie gibt zusätzliche Sicherheit. Die Samsung Magician Software ermöglicht es, die SSD zu überwachen, Firmware-Updates durchzuführen und die Performance zu optimieren. Die SSD wird nicht heiß und arbeitet absolut lautlos. Kein Surren oder Klackern mehr wie bei der alten HDD. Das macht den Rechner insgesamt deutlich leiser.
