The last one worked reliably for over 20 years.
I bought this to replace an identical unit that passed away in its sleep after running 24/7 in my home for the past 20 years. It does what I want, which is to distribute 10/100 through my home backbone reliably. I have no reason not to believe this one won't last me for the next 20 years.

Good product - go careful on photos
Very happy with product. Easy to set up. Bought two and bought a RJ45 crossover adaptor for $3 off Ebay to link the two switches together (which worked perfectly). The only problem is that Amazon has its photos wrong. The product they ship has power input (110v ac) on REAR, and all port lights and RJ45 outputs on FRONT. Initially i was going to send the switches back as i wanted power and outputs on rear with just lights visible on front as this would have given a neater finish .... but decided just to deal with them as this is the newer designed version from D-link. Hopefully Amazon will update their old photos soon !!!

Fast delivery and easy set up
works as advertised. Fast delivery and easy set up. Just what I was looking for. I also noticed an increase in my bandwidth, how ever this could be because I was no longer using several different routers to accommodate all of my devises. All in all, good buy!
