BEWARE - this will not work in the UK
Why is this for sale on the Amazon UK website? I wish I'd read the reviews first. Having lived in New York, I immediately recognised the US flat pin plug. On turning the device upside down, molded into the plastic was the designation "120V". Yes,it looks nice and feels solid, but it's no use whatsoever in the UK!

Wrong plug
Ordered the Cuisinart electric tin opener. Looked great until I took the packaging off of the plug. Supplied with a flat two-pin plug which is totally unsuitable for the UK. Returned to UPS collection site sadly for a refund

THIS PRODUCT IS FOR THE AMERICAN MARKET 120VOLTS
I HAD TO CALL IN AN ELECTRICIAN REGARDING THE CURRENT REQUIRED FOR THIS PRODUCT I WAS INFORMED IT 120V IE FOR THE AMERICAN MARKET AND CANNOT BE USED IN THE UK.IWOULD HAVE RETURNED THIS ITEM BUT I DESTROYED THE CARTON.NOT A HAPPY BUNNIE.
