While I love the dewalt track saw, I hate the dual sided rails. This seemed like a good alternative to use with dewalt as both said festool compatible. The track however has a lip (see picture) that prevents the dewalt from seating properly. I sawed that off in my table saw and filed the edge smooth and voila perfect fit for Dewalt! Hope your his helps anyone with dewalt

I purchased the item but it was received in a bent shape. Not able to put it to use to determine the quality of the product. Would have ideally liked to exchange the product....

I bought the Powertec track for my WEN track saw. If you buy this track for that saw, you must trim the rubber outside edge guard and remove one of the track locks on the rear of the saw. Overall, this track seems to be pretty high quality. It glides smoothly. Relatively inexpensive. Would recommend.

I didn't purchase this for a Makita or Festool. I purchased it because I wanted a straight edge guide rail to clamp on plywood and rip across. Even though it was made specifically as a track for Makita and Festool, it even works great as a ripping straight edge for any hand tool.
