Mr. Right [DVD]

The adorable Anna Kendrick with the equally adorable Sam Rockwell as the leads make this hysterically funny film highly entertaining and enjoyable. They've got oodles of charm playing this immensely lovable duo!! The two meet accidentally in a deli, or small grocery, which occurs shortly after Martha (Anna Kendrick) is in a bit of a stupor after a disastrous relationship break-up. Francis (Sam Rockwell) is the highly trained, skilled assassin with both a sense of humor & valor, not to mention conscience (he only wants to take-out enemies he deems truly bad people) along with a heart of gold. Now, at this particular moment, there are also paid hit-men out to get Francis! Chemistry & magic occur when these two meet & take up a truly zany relationship!! Martha has no idea who he is, or what he does, but she is feeling that she needs to "let go" & have some excitement in her life: enter Francis & this is the perfect opportunity!! Martha doesn't know just what she's getting herself into, but after some initial surprise, she's up for it & becomes not only the girlfriend, but along the way... accomplice! The supporting cast of hit-men are, naturally, stepping all over themselves, getting everything wrong, blustering imbeciles who more often than not, end up shooting themselves in the foot! RZA of the Wu-Tan clan stands out in this group for his clever portrayal of the killer for hire, who ends up liking his intended target, which is returned & the 2 develop a friendship & Francis finds himself a helper!!! About half the enemies he has do want to get him, while the rest end up liking this affable hit-man way too much to want to do him any harm!!! During all the fracas Francis & Martha do find time to carry on the start of what could be...Love! Wherever they turn up, chaos & dodging bullets are never far behind while they are courting, in restaurants, dancing, etc.!! Francis uses his fancy footwork to both woo Martha & keep those enemies off their mark, as he's a whirling, twirling, spinning, pretty hard target to hit! To maximize just how witty this particular assassin is, Francis wears a clown nose whenever it's time to do business!! Cheeky, cute & raucous make for a pretty lively & lovely romance!!! Great film!

This was a hilarious romantic action movie. Made me literally laugh out loud. The characters are so cute together. Love how they did this. Amazing movie!!
