Dilapidated allotment shed, this liquid restored my wood, the dry parts straightened a bit and I was able to get some panel pins in. Colour is excellent. Easy to use, via a paint kettle. I took the recommended brush and the runny liquid went all over me, down my arms and splashed my glasses etc. It all came off, eventually. I am going to do the inside today and will use whatever is left of the two containers on the outside again. This is an excellent product, the oil helps rain run-off No cleaning up will be attempted and all the used items will be bagged for the tip. I will be wearing long rubber gloves and over-glasses

Went on easily with a brush. Does have quite a strong smell but not as bad as old style creosote. Only used half the one bottle for a small summerhouse so have loads left for redoing every year for next few years so proved to be great value! A little darker in colour than I would have liked where I put it on more thickly, but not too bad. Just take your time and you won't get covered in it

Love this treatment, the colour is great, it soaks right in to the wood unlike paint that just sits on top, its a bit messy but worth it knowing your wood is going to be protected and last a lot longer which is what I wanted for my new shed base, it does have really strong smell but in my opinion that's how u know its good stuff, the 4L bottle did 4 sleepers with a bit left and I did really soak them in it so although its a bit pricey it does go a long way, the only downside was how long it took to arrive but thats just me being impatient probably

Excellent product! 😁 used on fencing, went on easy, dried well and covered evenly, only had to use one coat too, packaged well and arrived quickly, recommend and have already ordered some more 😃 As for comments on it being thin/runny liquid: it’s oil based wood treatment not ‘fence paint’ so obviously it’s not as thick as paint so use less on your brush it won’t run 👍

Brilliant budget oil based stain

First time buying this but I am very pleased with the colour and the result. I used both a brush and a sprayer (with PPE). The only downside side is that it smells quite strong. Just one container did the whole workshop and just a tiny bit left which I put in a jar.
